7. Hose reels supplied without tube

The hose reels can be supplied without tube.

The type of tube to be fitted must be suitable for taking pressures higher than the working pressures given on
the label, for each hose reel model.
Attention!

the type of tube or by the manner in which the same is fitted by the dealer, user or by others.

Undo the screw [M] and remove the nipple [G] (fig. 20) with a spanner.
Fix the chosen hose on the nipple (fig. 21) and secure it using a sealant.
Refit the nipple with the hose using a spanner (fig. 22). Remove the 3
screws [F] (fig. 23).
Insert an 8 mm - 5/16" Allen key in the seat of the middle pin (fig. 24).
Turning the key anticlockwise turns the drum that will wind the hose.
During this operation the hose must be moved alternately to the right and
left so that it is wound on the entire width of the drum.
After winding the hose, fix the hose stop at the required length (fig. 25)

choosing for the stop the bushing [A]-[B]-[C] suitable for the hose fitted.
Then tighten the spring by turning the spring holder bushing anticlockwise
5 complete turns using a 12 mm - 1/2" hexagon wrench (fig. 26). Holding
the 12 mm - 1/2" wrench firmly with one hand, impress the 3 screws [F]
and fix them in sequence (fig. 27). To install the hose reel, see the
chapters before.
