1. General information and introduction

The compact photometer PF-12
use and for use in laboratories. It is used for the evaluation of colorimetric test kits in 16 mm
tubes from MACHEREY-NAGEL. Besides the measurement of absorbed light it offers the pos-
sibility to determine the nephelometric turbidity units by measuring the light scattering at a 90°
angle. The illuminated display and the intuitive menu navigation allow a fast, comfortable and
pleasant working with the instrument and make it the ideal compact photometer in the whole
spectrum of water analysis.

The CE marking declares that the product complies with the following European Community
harmonisation legislation:
