On starting, the Hi_Cal will automatically check the probe measuring detection
sensor (Init), then move the probe up and down for setting the system refe-
rence.
In case of a problem during initialization, please proceed with following
controls:
• Is the probe free to move ?
• Is the measuring force correctly set ? (see chapter « Selector adjustement »)
• In the event of uncontrolled movement (without using the UP/DOWN button)
of the carriage, switch the instrument off by pressing >5s on ON | OFF and
switch it on again by pressing >0.5s on ON | OFF.

Intuitive and interactive keypad

The Hi_Cal display electronic has been designed to make its use very easy,
following the concept of «start and go». All the main functions are accessible
by direct use of the corresponding button.

The Setup key enters a menu sequence which enable
access to parameters and extended functions
