4.1

Mechanical installation

The Dräger RVP 3900 is designed to be installed in a cabinet
or in a switchboard.
Cut openings according to the dimensions of the installation site.
WARNING
!
It is essential that the back of the RVP 3900 is well
ventilated when mounted. The device generates waste
heat. If this heat builds up and the specified ambient
temperature is exceeded, the RVP 3900 may become
damaged, fail or present a fire hazard due to
overheating. This is particularly important when
installing in lightweight walls or similar.
