Remote view

This browser view allows remote access to the RVP 3900 to
navigate and operate all areas of the RVP 3900.

On-screen actions in the remote view immediately
cause a corresponding response on the corresponding
device.

System diagnostics

System diagnostics is a helpful tool in case of problems with
the network connection. It consists of four areas:

In case of problems during installation or faults during
operation, contact Dräger Service.

Maintenance

Have the Dräger RVP 3900 checked regularly
(recommendation: every six months) by qualified personnel.
Repairs to the device may only be carried out by experts. This
does not include maintenance work, which is described in this
section.
Only use genuine Dräger parts for maintenance.
For the conclusion of a service contract, as well as for repairs,
it is recommended to contact Dräger.

10.1 Changing the SD memory card

CAUTION
!
Only insert and eject the CompactFlash memory card
when the device is switched off.
A CompactFlash memory card can be used to record and
evaluate measured values and to create and transfer large
configuration data.
The CompactFlash port is a Type II port suitable for Type I or
Type II cards. Only use 2 GB cards with the Dräger RVP 3900
CompactFlash port.
Information stored on a CompactFlash memory card via a
Dräger RVP 3900 can be evaluated using a card reader
connected to the PC. The information is stored in the FAT16
file format, which is IBM (Windows®) PC compatible.

When replacing the CompactFlash memory card,
Dräger recommends using only cards from the brand
manufacturers Sandisk and SimpleTech, as only these
have been tested by the manufacturer of the panel.

10.2 Performing a software update

New firmware for the RVP 3900 can be made available via
ServiceConnect. This is communicated via corresponding
service information.
Transfer the corresponding file to a USB stick and connect this
to the RVP 3900. Restart the device by disconnecting and
reconnecting the power supply; this will result in an automatic
firmware update.

When an update is carried out, existing settings are
lost and the device must then be reconfigured.
