8. Maintenance tips
The unit must be maintained regularly. We
therefore recommend that you have a mainte-
nance agreement with your dealer.
1. pH - Probe
The probes are tested using the two pH 4 and
pH 7 buffer solutions included in the scope of
delivery. If the deviations are too large, the elec-
trode has to be recalibrated as described in sec-
tion 3.9. If the calibration fails or the deviations
are still too large, the electrode must be re-
placed.
2. Rx - Probe
The Redox probe has to be checked regularly
using the Rx 475 mV buffer solution. If the de-
viation of the measured value from the setpoint
of 475 mV is too big (40 mV) the electrode
must be replaced.
Caution: Rx probes are given their final cali-
bration in the factory.
3. Solenoid diaphragm pump
For solenoid diaphragm pumps, please refer to
the manufacturer's maintenance instructions in
the enclosed operating instructions.
4. Injection valves
The injection valves must be inspected several
times a year for blockages and deposits. Remove
those blockages and deposits.
9. Safety notice
The suction lance for taking product from the
container must be positioned appropriately to
the size of the pool, so that overdosing is im-
possible even if a relay should malfunction. It is
necessary to ensure that the foot of the suction
lance is always at the appropriate distance below
the container level, in other words when the
canister is full, the suction lance should not be
inserted as far as the bottom of the canister.
