13. Troubleshooting

Make sure you check the technical condition of your espresso machine on a regular basis, such as the
power cord and housing for damage. Discontinue use of the product if its safe operation can no longer be
guaranteed. Unplug the appliance!
Water comes out of the machine bottom
• The drip tray has overflowed. Empty the drip tray.
• The machine malfunctions. Please have it repaired at a specialist workshop.
Water comes out of the top of the filter holder
• There is coffee powder on the edge of the filter holder. Clean the edge of the filter holder.
Coffee tastes sour
• The machine was either rinsed insufficiently or not rinsed at all after descaling. Rinse the machine as described
above.
• Coffee powder has been stored in a very warm and/or humid environment for a long time. Coffee has gone bad.
