Engine oil change
If the engine oil is dirty, engine wear will occur more rapidly. Change
the oil at designated intervals. Maintain the oil at the proper level.

How to change the oil:
1. Place the snowblower on a level surface. Remove the oil filler cap/
dipstick and the drain bolt.
Drain the oil while the engine is still warm to assure rapid and
complete draining.
2. Install the drain bolt securely.
If you drain the oil immediately after stopping the engine, its
temperature will be high and may cause burns.
3. Fill with new oil up to the upper limit, as indicated by the oil filler
gauge. (In checking the oil level with the oil filler cap/dipstick, do not
screw the cap/dipstick in.) (See page
4. After replacing the oil, securely tighten the oil filler cap/dipstick.
Wash your hands with soap and water after handling used oil.
