QUICK TIME-ZONE CHANGE
Your B chronometer is equipped with an hour
reitLing
hand enabling quick time-zone change. the latter may
be adjusted in one-hourly increments, either forward or
back.
1. Unscrew the water-resistant crown in an anti-clock-
wise direction and pull it out to position 2. Forwards or backwards
adjustment of the time, as well as the date change at midnight, is done
without affecting the rating or precision of the minutes and seconds.
2. after this process, carefully tighten the water-resistant crown again.

SUN COMPASS
Your B chronometer may be used as a sun compass, thus enabling
reitLing
you to determine the northerly-Southerly direction. For regions that have
instated daylight saving time, subtract one hour when directing the watch.
In the Northern hemisphere
Point the hour hand precisely towards the sun. in relation
to the watch dial, the point located midway between
the current time and 12 o'clock indicates the South, the
north being exactly opposite.
In the Southern hemisphere
Point the hour-marker located at 12 o'clock on the dial
precisely towards the sun. in relation to the watch dial,
the point located midway between the current time and
12 o'clock indicates the north, the South being exactly
opposite.
