Updating the firmware

To update the firmware please proceed as follows:
1. Connect the vario DIGITAL FHD Advanced to a PC using the provided USB cable.
Ensure that the SD card is inserted in the card slot a.
2. Turn the vario DIGITAL FHD Advanced on. The contents of the SD card will now be
displayed on the PC as the "ESCHENBACH" drive.
3. Now open the web address that was provided to you in the email about the firm-
ware update using the connected PC.
4. Download the firmware update and save it directly on the drive - not in a drive
subfolder.
5. Disconnect the vario DIGITAL FHD Advanced from the PC using the "Unplug and
