Type of control EtherCat dPro EC
Products with dPro EC functionality are designed for
operation in EtherCAT networks. They support distributed
Clocks and can be controlled by different manufacturer's
controllers, e.g. Beckhoff or Omron.
They can be controlled via various variants: Profidrive,
quick start or manufacturer's objects. Our recommenda-
tion is controlling the dPro EC controllers via quick start
commands to permit quick commissioning.
The products can be operated in the following operating
modes:

ports in commissioning of dPro EC motors can be found

In order to take products with dPro EC functionality into
operation, you either need the „Drive Assistant 5" soft-
ware or a Beckhoff control system with the corresponding
commissioning software. For the latter you will find the
appropriate ESI file in our download area.
The dPro EC controllers supports the DS402 profile and
Distributed Clocks. This allows realising highly dynamic
and synchronous servo applications. The commissioning
via Beckhoff TwinCAT is fully supported and very simple.

Ansteuerungsvariante EtherCat dPro EC
Produkte mit dPro EC Funktionalität sind für den Betrieb
in EtherCAT Netzwerken vorgesehen. Sie unterstützen
Distributed Clocks und können von Steuerungen unter-
schiedlicher Hersteller angesteuert werden, z. B. Beckhoff
oder Omron.
Sie können über verschiedene Varianten angesteuert wer-
den: DS402, Quickstart oder Herstellerobjekte. Unsere
Empfehlung ist, den dPro EC Regler über Quickstart Be-
fehle anzusteuern, da damit eine schnelle Inbetriebnahme
möglich ist.
Die Produkte können in den folgenden Betriebsarten be-
trieben werden:

nehmen, benötigen Sie entweder die Software „Drive As-
