Assemble, disassemble and swing them away as for the standard
legrests, adjust the lower leg length as described in Chapter 4.2.2 and

4.6.

Sideguards

4.6.1.

Standard sideguard

• In order to be able to transfer more easily, both sideguards with
armrests can be swung backwards and removed.
• Pull the locking lever gently and at the same time, swing the
sideguard to the back (Fig. 11).
• Once the front side of the sideguard is released and the fixing bolt
at its rear has been pulled out, the sideguard can be removed by an
upwards movement.
• To lock the sideguard, flip it forwards and click it into place on the
armrest using gentle pressure.

For transfer, the legrest must be swung away or
removed. Never sit on the legrest. Risk of tipping
over!
When swinging the sideguards away, make sure
that clothing or other items cannot be trapped.
Before using for the first time, check that the
sideguards are firmly in place!
Never use the sideguards to carry the wheelchair!

Height adjustment

• Pull the locking lever to move the armrest to the required position
(Fig. 12).
• When you have reached the position required, then release the
lever. The lock clicks into place.
• The height has been correctly selected if the upper arm and forearm
are approximately at right angles to one another when the forearm
is resting on the armrest.

Depth adjustment

• Press the knob on the side of the armrest and push the armrest to
the required position (Fig. 13).
• Release the knob and move the armrest gently forwards or
backwards until it clicks into place.

Seat

4.7.1.

Seat depth

Attention: risk of tipping over! If you move the drive
wheel forwards or the backrest backwards, then the
risk of tipping over increases significantly. Anti-tip
wheels or a wheelbase extension are required. Check
the settings first with an assistant. Only use settings
which you consider to be safe.
The seat depth can be adjusted in five positions. The seat depth can be
adjusted in a range of ten centimetres. First remove the bracket for the
sideguard and backrest by undoing the fixing screws (Fig. 14).
