WORKING WITH A CUTTER
Setting the cutting angle (IX)
The work table has a stop plate that allows you to set the cutting angle from +/- 45 degrees.
Loosen the two screws fi xing the stop plate, set the desired cutting angle, and then tighten both screws fi rmly and fi rmly.
The stop plate has a marked angular scale, which allows you to approximate the cutting angle. For precise settings, however, you
should use an additional measuring tool, for example a protractor.
Application of clamp
The cut element should be pressed against the table support plate. To do this, use the clamp. In order to set the clamp quickly,
lift the clamping thread (X), push the clamp to the desired position, and then lower the clamping thread. Use the pressure grip to
tighten the clamp so as to press the cut-out element of the stop plate (XI).
When cutting long elements that extend signifi cantly beyond the work table, external support elements should be used. Two
support elements should be used on each side of the element to be cut, which extends well beyond the table. One of the supports
should be placed as close as possible to the work table, and the other close to the end of the element to be cut. This arrangement
will prevent uncontrolled movement of the part of the element after cutting. The height of the supports should be chosen so that
as the cutting progresses, parts of element part to be cut will part out of the cutting plane. This will prevent the abrasive disc from
being caught and pinched by the element being cut. Blockage and entrapment can cause the blade to break up, which can lead
to serious injury or even death.
Cutting depth adjustment (XII)
The cutter allows you to adjust the cutting depth to a certain extent, for example to reduce wear of the abrasive disc or to allow
cutting. To do this, loosen the nut securing the adjustment screw, turn the screw to the desired height and secure it against un-
screwing by tightening the lock nut.
Product transport
When transporting the machine, it must be transported in the original factory packaging. Lower the cutting head to the lowest
position and secure with a chain. Place the support plate in the 0 degrees position and push the clamp maximally towards the
stop plate.
Cutting with the cutter
After setting and securing the cut-out element in the desired position, start cutting.
The switch has a safety lock against accidental depression, which should be pressed with the thumb, only then you should press
the switch (XIII).
After pressing the switch, let the abrasive disc reach the rated speed and start cutting. It is forbidden to apply the abrasive disk
to the material before starting the tool. This may cause blocking the abrasive disc, damaging it or the material. This can lead to
serious injuries.
In the event of resuming cutting, allow the abrasive disc to reach the rated speed and then insert it into the cutting slit.
When cutting, the abrasive disc should be lowered in a smooth motion, avoiding excessive pressure. The pressure to be exerted
on the cutting head should not be greater than that which is suffi cient to cut the material. Avoid hitting the cut material with a
abrasive disc.
If the abrasive disc is blocked in the material to be cut, immediately release the pressure on the tool switch, disconnect it from the
power source and then remove the abrasive disc.
Inspect the abrasive disc for any damage or deformation that may have occurred at the time of the jam and, if noticed, replace it
with a new one that is free from damage. Also check the cause of the jam, for example if the workpiece has been properly sup-
ported. Before starting work, the cause of the grinding of the abrasive disc must be removed.
After fi nishing cutting, keep the cutting head still, release the pressure on the switch and wait until the abrasive disc is completely
stopped. Raise the cutting head. Unplug the power cord from the power outlet and start maintenance.
Additional notes
The declared total vibration emission value and the declared noise emission value has been measured using a standard test
method and can be used to compare one tool with another. The declared total vibration emission value and the declared noise
emission value can be used in the initial exposure assessment.
Warning! Emission of vibration during work with the tool may diff er from the declared value, depending on the use of the tool.
Warning! Safety measures to protect the operator should be specifi ed that based on an assessment of exposure to emissions
under actual conditions of use (including all parts of the work cycle, such as when the tool is switched off or idling and the acti-
vation time).
