3 Product description

The mvBlueCOUGAR-XD is a GigE Vision compliant camera for the acquisition and preprocessing of images. Applica-
tion areas are optical identifications, inspections for quality assurance, and the measurement of objects. The camera can
also be used in robot environments.
With the two Gigabit LAN interfaces a high transfer rate of 2 GBit/sec. is possible and the host industrial system can af-
fect the processes in the camera and receive customer-specific processed image data.
The mvBlueCOUGAR-XD can be configured and operated with both tools provided by MATRIX VISION and third-party
software which is compliant to the image processing standards GigE Vision and GenICam.
