Inspection and maintenance

The inspection may require maintenance to be carried out
earlier, depending on the results.

9.1

Procuring spare parts

The original components of the product were also certified
by the manufacturer as part of the declaration of conformity.
If you use other, non-certified or unauthorised parts during
maintenance or repair work, this may result in the product no
longer meeting the applicable standards, thereby voiding the
conformity of the product.
We strongly recommend that you use original spare parts
from the manufacturer as this guarantees fault-free and safe
operation of the product. To receive information about the
available original spare parts, contact the contact address
provided on the back page of these instructions.

If you require spare parts for maintenance or repair
work, use only the spare parts that are permitted for the
product.
9.2

Preparing for maintenance

1. Disconnect the product from the power grid.
2. Close the main water tap.

3. Use a flat-blade screwdriver to lever the seal out of the
frame for the product's rear panel.
4. Carefully tilt the front panel towards yourself until it can
be removed from the frame.
5. Decommission the product.
6. Carry out the work in the specified sequence.
7. Do not bend the components when fitting or removing
them.

Checking the product

Check during maintenance:

Abnormalities on the product.

The cleanliness of the water filter in the cold water con-
nector.

The leak-tightness of the supply lines.
The electrical installation of the product must only be
checked by a qualified electrician.
If the cold-water filter is dirty or damaged, it must be cleaned
and serviced by a competent person.
9.4

Carrying out maintenance work

Cleaning the water filter
1. Unscrew the cold water connection.
2. Remove the water filter from the cold water connection
(1) and clean it under running water.
3. Insert the water filter into the cold water connection.
4. Screw in the cold water connection.
