Sterilizing

T3 highspeed handpieces may be sterilized only in
autoclaves with saturated water vapor at 135 °C (275 °F),
3 min. holding time (2.13 bar; 30.88 psi overpressure).
ATTENTION! Do not exceed 140 ° C (284 °F) even dur-
ing the drying phase.
Approved for sterilization are steam sterilizers that fulfill the
requirements of prEN 13060 or at least use fractionated vac-
uum and are suitable for the sterilization of highspeed hand-
pieces:
e.g. SIROCLAVE B.
Prior to sterilizing: Remove burr instrument
Clean and disinfect highspeed handpiece (3.3),
Protect highspeed handpiece by applying T1 spray (3.1).
