Attention! Never allow the unit to run dry!
Possible consequences: The unit will be destroyed.
Protective measures: Ensure perfect function of the pump.
During operation the soiling level of the filter basket of the pump (not included the scope of delivery) should
be regularly monitored. A high impurity level may lead to serious damage of the pump since it involves
the risk of cavitation. Watch out for symptoms of cavitation, such as unsteady running of the pump, loud
noises and unsteady flow of the pumped liquid.
5.2
Positioning of the Control Unit
The control unit should be installed in a dry, well ventilated room in close proximity to the basin. The
maximum room temperature must not exceed 30 °C.
The control panel should be mounted on a wall in such a way that the operator has easy access and can
work without any potential danger. The casing should be fastened to a wall by means of four screws and
plugs.
The electrical connection must only be made by an electrician in accordance with the specifications of
the local electricity board (EVU) as well as the current national and international regulations.
Specifications regarding the mains, rated voltage, rated power etc. can be found on the „type plate" or in
Chapter „Technical Data".
