5. Maintenance, repairs and warranty

5.1 Strorage
Please store the SO BIKE in a dry place. If left unused, recharge the battery every month to maintain longevity of the battery and to avoid damage. Never store the device under direct sunlight
(e.g. not in the trunk of a car). The temperature of the SO BIKE and its battery could rise above 50°C which could lead to irreparable damage. The storage volume of the battery decreases with
cold temperatures, thus the range decreases as well. The battery also takes damage when cooler than -20°C.
5.2 Cleaning
In order to avoid rust on the device, you should clean and dry the SO BIKE after every use. Use a slightly moist sponge for the cleaning and dry the device afterwards with a towel. Do not use much
water, since the electricity of the device can take damage through water. Also never use corrosive cleaning substances, such as alcohol or petroleum for cleaning. Never use a pressure cleaner for
the SO BIKE.
5.3 Maintenance
Methods for lubricating and greasing
We recommend lubricating rotating parts (not the belt drive) with grease / lubricating oil. After each cleaning, add grease to lubricate pivot points such as the front axle, rear axle, front handle,
etc..
Adjusting the belt tensioner
The belt must always be taut. Loosen the nuts on both sides of the rear axle and move the rear wheel backwards slightly until the belt is tensioned. Make sure that the rear wheel is parallel to
the bike frame and then tighten the nuts firmly on both sides.
Adjusting the speed system
Make sure that the belt aligns with the freewheel by gently stepping on the pedal. If you find that the connection is poor or there is noise, you can try adjusting the screws. It is recommended
