4.2 Operation
How to start your SO BIKE:
1. Turn on the battery after making sure everything is completely plugged into the controller.
2. Press and hold to turn the SO BIKE on and off
3. Change speed: press ∧ to increase the speed. Press ∨ to slow the bike down.
Changing the speed and assistance mode
1. Press the ∨ button for 2 seconds to activate the pushing aid.

Warning: The pushing aid should only be used when pushing the SO BIKE on foot. Please do not use the mode while driving.
Switching the front light on and off
1. Press and hold the ∧ button for 1 second to turn on the headlight. The headlight icon is displayed on the user interface of the display.
2. Press and hold the ∧ button for again 1 second to switch the front light off again. The headlight symbol is hidden (only if the lights are installed!).
Resetting the data for a single trip
1. 10 seconds after the display has been switched on, with the device at a standstill, press the M button for 2 seconds to call up the menu for data release.
2. Briefly press the M button to display the confirmation window (see A) and select an item using the ∨ / ∧ buttons.
3. Briefly press the M button again to reset the odometer reading (TRIP), the driving time (TRIP TIME), the average speed (AVG) and the maximum speed (MAX) (see B and C).
4. Return to the user interface.
