3.5 Maintenance
Do not try to charge the SO BIKE when the battery is already full. This could diminish the battery's capacity in the long run.
Before every ride, check all screws of the device, especially those of the handle and frontbar, the mudguard and the front and rear wheel. Tighten all screws firmly to ensure safety when using
your SO BIKE.
Before each journey, check that the wheels are undamaged.
Check regularly that the brakes are correctly adjusted. You can adjust the braking force by adjusting the brake cable. If in doubt, contact your dealer.
Thoroughly clean the SO BIKE with a dry cloth after usage. The front and rear ball bearings must be lubricated from time to time. Ordinary bicycle oil can be used. Oil the area where the axle runs
into the wheel to ensure better durability.
3.6 IPX4
The SO BIKE is splash-proof according to IPX4 but not waterproof. You may therefore use the SO BIKE in light rain and drive through puddles on the ground. You must not immerse the SO BIKE in
water or expose it to heavy rain, otherwise the electronics may be damaged. Further information about the scope of protection according to IPX4 can be found on the Internet.
