Further, the controllers of the ROXXY PROcontrol series have the
following features:
- The controllers of this series have a very powerful SBEC. To mi-
nimize contact resistance and increase safety, we have equipped
the controllers with an additional receiver connection cable.
- For convenient configuration, an optional programming box is
available (ROXXY PROcontrol Programmer # 1-02110).
- The controllers are characterized by their optimum adaptability
to all brushless motor types, including high-speed internal rotor
motors.
- The controllers ensure smooth start-up and the throttle curve has
a high linearity.
- The motor timing can be adapted perfectly to the respective motor,
and an automatic timing function is available.
- Two different Governor modes can be selected for use in helicop-
ters.
- The use of state-of-the-art, highly efficient MOSFETs results in
small dimensions and a low weight and, due to the particularly low
internal resistance, an extremely high load capacity.
- A generously sized aluminum housing ensures excellent heat dis-
sipation.
- The high-voltage types (HV OPTO) are equipped with an anti-
flash circuit; for all other controller types, it is recommended to
use connectors with a built-in anti-flash circuit.

3. Starting up the controller
Connecting the controller
As shown in the image below, the three motor connection cables of
the ROXXY PROcontrol controller are connected to the motor. You
can either solder the cables together or connect them separately
via high-quality connectors. Make sure the plug connections provide
safe and reliable contact and are appropriately dimensioned for the
load. The corresponding soldering work must be carried out care-
fully and properly. The plug connection to the battery should always
be protected against polarity reversal.
Important note: The battery connection cables must not be ex-
tended, as this may result in damage to the controller and the war-
ranty being null and void. The same applies to optional components
whose correct functionality we cannot check.
The OPTO HV controllers are equipped with two signal connections;
with the longer cable being used for connection to the receiver. The

shorter cable is connected to the programmer during programming.
ROXXY PROcontrol controllers with BEC also have two connection

cables - 1x three-wire and 1x two-wire cable. The cable with the
three wires leads to the corresponding servo output of the receiver
and is used to control the controller or for connection to the pro-

gramming box. The second cable (with two wires) is connected in
parallel to the connection cable and is only used for the additional
application of the BEC power supply to the receiver. This cable can

be plugged into the battery connection or an unused receiver output.
The HV controllers are equipped with an anti-flash circuit to avoid

sparks at the connectors when connecting the batteries. The follow-
ing image shows correct wiring of an HV controller.
