For extraction mode, you must also create a feed
through of approx. Ø 130 mm in the base of the
unit.
If the mains cable is fed through the unit, a feed
through also must be provided.
Drill four mounting holes of Ø 4 mm through the
base of the unit. Screw in the appliance with the
screws including washers (3) under the wall unit
and tighten the nuts (4) through the housing.
For extraction mode insert the connecting piece
with non-return valves (5) from above onto the air
outlet. Thereto a flexible extraction hose (not sup-
plied) with an inner diameter of Ø 120 mm must
be fitted and connected to the outside by an ex-
traction vent.
For recirculation mode close the air outlet by put-
ting on the cover (6).
Reinstall the aluminum grease filter.
Installing the activated carbon filter mat for recircula-
tion mode
Remove the aluminum grease filter (see

Insert the previously fitted carbon filter mat parts
onto the grease filter and fix the mat parts each
with two metal struts (supplied with carbon filter
mat).
Reinstall the aluminum grease filter with fixed
carbon filter mats.

Electrical connection
WARNING:
The installation to the mains supply must conform
to the local standards and regulations.
Improper connection may cause to an electric
shock!
Do not modify the appliance plug. If the plug does
not fit properly to the outlet, let install a proper
outlet by an authorized specialist.
The accessibility of the power plug must be en-
sured to disconnect the appliance from the power
supply in case of emergency.
Ensure that your mains power corresponds with
the specifications of the appliance. The specifica-
tions are printed on the rating label.
Connect the mains cable to a properly installed
and earthed wall outlet.
If the plug after installation is not accessible, a
corresponding disconnect device must be availa-
ble to meet the relevant safety regulations.
Startup / Operation
The extractor hood is operated via two slide switch-
es. The lighting as well as the fan settings must be
switched on and off with the corresponding switches.
