Recirculation mode
If you do not have a direct extraction vent to the out-
side; the hood can also work in recirculation mode
(i.e. without an extraction vent to the outside; the
filtered air is released back into the room). In this
case, an activated carbon filter mat as described
"Installing the activated carbon filter mat for
under
recirculation mode"
, must be used.
The activated carbon filter mat is not supplied. You
can order the mat from your dealer or in our online
accessories shop, www.bomann-germany.de. To
order, use the reference number found under

Mounting at the wall
Mounting below the wall unit
The hood is mounted at the wall or below a suita-
ble wall unit. Determine the position of the extrac-
tor hood centrally above the hob in conformance
with the specified safety distances.
Remove the aluminum grease filter.
Select the fume outlet and set the lever to the
appropriate position, see
let".
Mounting at the wall
Mark the necessary holes for the wall mounting by
using the supplied drill template and check them
with a spirit level!
Drill two mounting holes Ø 8 mm into the wall and
insert the dowel pins (1). Then turn in the screws
(2) so far that they project approx. 4 mm out of the
wall.
Suspend the hood and tighten the screws through
the housing. Check the secure fitting and horizon-
tally position.
Mounting below the wall unit
Hold the hood to the specified cabinet position
and draw the drilling points from the inside of the
housing corresponding to the four screw holes.
Check them with a spirit level!
