Troubleshooting Guide
Problem
Rudder does not
move
Controls reversed
Motor or ESC
overheats
Motor power
pulses then motor
loses power
Boat tends to
dive in water or
takes on water

Possible Cause
Rudder, linkage or servo damaged
Wire is damaged or connections are
loose
Transmitter is not bound correctly
or to the incorrect boat
BEC of the ESC is damaged
ESC is switched off
Transmitter settings are reversed
Blocked water cooler tubes
ESC uses LVC
Weather conditions too cold
Battery is old, worn out or damaged Replace battery
Battery crating might be too small
Boat hull is not completely closed
Center of gravity is too far forward
Trim taps are angled incorrectly on
the back of the boat
Solution
Replace or repair damaged parts
Do a check of wires & connections,
connect or replace as needed
Rebind or select correct boat in
the transmitter
Replace ESC
Power on ESC
Control Direction Test and adjust
controls on transmitter
Clean or replace water tubes
Recharge/Replace battery
Postpone until weather is better
Use recommended battery
Dry out boat and ensure the
hatch is fully closed
Mover batteries back in the hull
Angle each trim tap up a little bit
to lift the bow, and down to lower
the bow
