Troubleshooting Guide

Problem
Boat does not
respond to throttle
but other controls.
Extra noise or extra
vibration
Reduced runtime
or boat
underpowered
Boat does not bind
to transmitter
Boat tends to turn
in one direction

Possible Cause
Throttle servo travel is lower
than 100%
Throttle channel is reversed
Damagede propeller, shaft or motor Replace damaged parts
Propeller it out of balance
Boat battery charge is low
Boat battery is damaged
Blocking or friction on shaft or
propeller
Boat conditions may be too cold
Battery capacity may be too low
for conditions
Drive dog is too close
Too little lubrication on shaft
Vegetation or other obstacles block
the rudder or propeller
Transmitter is too near boat during
binding process
Boat or transmitter is too close to a
large metal object
Bind plug is not installed correctly
Boat or Transmitter battery charge
is too low
ESC is switched off
Rudder or rudder trim is not
centered
Vertical fins of trim tabs are angled
incorrectly
Solution
Make sure the throttle servo travel
is 100% or more
Reverse it on transmitter
Balance or replace the propeller
Completely recharge battery
Replace it and follow manual
Disassemble, lubricate and
correctly align parts
Make sure battery is warm
Replace or charge the battery
Loosen coupling at shaft and
move away shaft a little bit
Fully lubricate shaft
Remove boat from water and
obstacled
Move transmitter a few feet away,
disconnect and reconnect
Move boat or transmitter away
from the large metal object
Install it and try again
Replace/Recharge batteries
Power on ESC
Repair or adjust rudder and
rudder trim for straight running
Angle the fins a little bit right or
left for straight running
