6.2 Engine - maintenance
You will find a detailed description of all maintenance works in the provided manual of the engine manufacturer.
Fuel, use only fresh clean, unleaded gasoline with 87 or more octane (ROZ at least 90).
Remark: Unleaded gasoline will be recommended, as there will be formed less sediments in the combustion
chamber. Leaded gasoline can be used in countries where leaded gasoline is not provided and where no exhaust
gas regulations are existing. In this case the cylinder head/combustion chamber have to be maintained regular
more frequent.

check oil level, check fuel supply,
check cooling air inlets and all outer
surfaces of the engine. They have to
be always clean and free.
(Oil sort: SAE5W30-„Winter";
10W30 approx. 2 l)
change oil
change air filter (at high dust
loading, adjust accordingly!)
change oil filter
air filter maintenance, wash out pre-filter and
oil new
renew paper filter insert
remove fan housing and folding plate,
and brush off cooling fins, blow out
check spark plug and change if necessary
(use Champion RC12YC or similar)
