Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or
these instructions to operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
Please always keep these instructions nearby the machine. You should always have them readily to hand

Do not allow familiarity gained from frequent use of your product to become common-place. Always remem-

ber that a careless fraction of a second is sufficient to inflict severe injury.
The speed and feed of the bit when carving, routing or cutting is very important. Always observe the speed

and feed for the particular bit recommended.
Check before each use of your machine if it is supplied with current, and if required, if the compressed air

is working perfectly.
Check if the individual components are perfectly connected with each other before the first commissioning
NOTICE
and in regular intervals later on.
Each operator must operate the machine and its components with due prudence and due expertise which is

necessary for the use of CNC controlled milling machines.
Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the appliance switch is in the OFF position (0) before connecting the
power tool to the power supply respectively to the main board of the CNC router, picking it up or carrying the

tool. Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or energizing power tools with the switch on invites
accidents.
Do not use the power tool if the switch cannot be turned ON and / or OFF. Any power tool that cannot be

controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
Use the power tool, accessories and end mills etc. in accordance with these instructions, taking into ac-

count the working conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the power tool for operations different
from those intended could result in a hazardous situation.
This product is controlled by a computer. During operation, it cannot be controlled directly. Lack of caution

or expertise as well as program errors can lead to unexpected movements and personal injuries or damage.
Do not leave a running CNC system and power tool unattended, but turn the power OFF. Only when a CNC

router or power tool comes to a complete stop and is disconnected from the main power supply, it is safe.
Never use dull or damaged insertion tools. Sharp insertion tools must be handled with care. Damaged inser-
NOTICE tion tools can snap during use. Dull insertion tools require more force to push the tool though the material,
possibly causing the insertion tool to break.

When using accessories please always make sure to have the additional operating instructions of the corre-
NOTICE sponding products and check, if the parts are compatible to the STEPCRAFT CNC system and to the control
before using them for the first time.
The CNC gantry milling system is only to be used in a technically perfect condition which is to be ensured

prior to each operation.
Maintain the power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any

other conditions that may affect the power tool's operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before
use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.
Develop a periodic maintenance schedule for your tool. When cleaning a tool, be careful not to disassemble
any portion of the tool since internal wires may be misplaced or pinched or safety guard return springs may

be improperly mounted. Certain cleaning agents such as gasoline, carbon tetrachloride, ammonia, etc. may
damage the surface.
Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will

ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.
Please only use this machine according to its intended use. If the machine is not used as intended, there is

a risk for persons and of material damages!
Keep the cutting tools sharp and clean. Well maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges get caught

less and are easier to control via the machine.
