5.6 Venting line

• Faeces lifting units are to be generally vented above the roof. The venting line may
be inserted both into the main and secondary ventilation.
• Connections and clamps at the venting line should have sound reduction properties.
• The use of pipe ventilators is not permissible and leads to malfunctions of the lifting
unit.

3. Insert the venting pipe into the pipe coupling.
4. Fix the venting line with pipe clamps, for example,
so that it does not sit on the venting nozzle of
the lifting unit. The weight of pipeline must not be
ensured when a distance of approx. 2 cm exists
between the line end of the venting line and the
venting nozzle of the lifting unit.
5. Fix and tighten the second pipe clamp in the area
of the venting line.
