Making the connection

Connect the LED display via the RJ45 interface either directly to the computer or via network, e.g. via a router or

switch. A network cable is included in the delivery. The LEDs on the socket indicate a network connection and

network activity.

Configure network settings

To configure the network settings, use the program 'NetModuleConfig_CH9120.exe' on the enclosed USB flash

drive. Start the program and make the following settings:

(1) Select the correct network adapter in the 'Adapter' field.

(2) Click on 'Search'. The LED display found in the network is listed under the name 'CH9120'.

(3) Select the LED display in the list with a double click. The current network settings of the LED display are now

shown below.

The IP addresses of the computer and the LED display must belong to the same subnetwork so that the units

can communicate with each other. To do this, enter the same network address of the computer but a different

host address in the

▪ You can find your computer's IP address in the Network and Sharing Center, which you can open by right-

clicking on the network icon

(5) If necessary, give the LED display a unique display name in the 'Name' field (e.g. if there are several units in

the network).

(6) Select the transmission parameters 'TCP Server' and port '2000' on the right.

(7) Finally, click on 'Set ALL'. The settings are transmitted to the LED display and its processor is restarted

(message 'Rebooting finished!').
