Safety frame
The safety frame prevents damage to the equipment
and the engine, and prevents injury to the operator.
Belt guard
The belt guard gives protection from the blade shaft
sheave and the belt.
Sheave guard
The belt guard gives protection from the blade shaft
sheave.

Plug to dust extractor connection
Always use the plug if the product is not connected to a
dust extractor.
Muffler guard
The muffler guard prevents burn injury from the hot
muffler
To examine the protective guards
1. Examine the blade block and the blade block guard,

the Lexan cover, the sheave guard, the safety
frame, the belt guard and the plug for damage.
2. Replace the protective guards if they are damaged.
3. Make sure that the protective guards are correctly
attached before you start the product.

Fuel safety

WARNING: Read the warning instructions
that follow before you use the product.
• Fuel is flammable and the fumes are explosive. Be
careful with fuel to prevent injury, fire and explosion.
• Do not breathe in the fuel fumes. The fuel fumes are
poisonous and can cause injury. Make sure that the
airflow is sufficient.
• Do not remove the fuel tank cap or fill the fuel tank
when the engine is on.
• Let the engine become cool before you refuel.
