Steering function to the left
If you move the rotary wheel from the middle position to the left, the rudder must move to the left as seen in the direc-
tion of travel. The model boat will then make a turn to the left.
If the rudder moves in a direction different from the steering movement of the rotary wheel, the reverse
switch for steering function (Figure 2, no. 6) is in the wrong position and must be switched over.

h) Closing the canopy

After checking the drive and steering functions, be sure
to put the canopy on before putting the model boat in the
water. Do not use force when putting on and locking the
canopy.
Place the model boat on the supplied boat stand.
Hold the canopy at about a 20° angle and insert the lock-
ing pin below the front windscreen into the corresponding
opening on the hull.
Make sure that the locking knob on the rear end of the
canopy points to the left or right; now fold the canopy
down.
Turn the locking knob back towards the boat stern; it does
not matter in which direction you turn it.
The canopy must fit neatly on all sides of the hull and it
must not be inclined or tilted.
A waterproof transparent adhesive tape is included. Use it carefully to cover the gap between the canopy and the hull.
This prevents water from entering the hull.
