USING THE CAN OPENER
• Place the can opener on the work surface or secure it to the wall with
its wall support and connect the appliance.
• Raise the control level and the hinged magnet (fig. A).
• Introduce the can at a slight angle bringing its edge to rest against
the toothed wheel (fig. B).
• Lower the lever, press slightly and pull down the magnet. The can
will start to rotate as soon as the knife penetrates and cutting will
proceed automatically (fig. C).
• The motor will stop automatically when the lid has been cut.
• Hold the can and raise the lever. The magnet will retain the cut lid.
PRACTICAL HINTS
• Do not open cans measuring more than 15cm in height.
• If there is an obstacle (bump, notch, weld or tab) on the edge of the
can, start opening after it or open from the other side of the can.
• Some "stackable" cans can only be opened from one side, this being
the widest.
• Lids of aluminium cans will not be held by the magnet.
CLEANING
• Disconnect your appliance.
• To disassemble the lever, raise it, push it to the right, and then
remove it from its recess (fig. A)
• Wash the lever in hot soapy water, rinse it and leave it to dry completely.
• Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse it.
• To reassemble the lever, replace it in its recess and push it to the left.
• You can store the power supply cord in the recess provided (6).
