2.2 General safety instructions
WARNING! Risk of personal injury
• It is highly dangerous to enter the container
when the vacuum system is running due to
the immense negative pressure. The contain-
er must be locked if unauthorised personnel
or children can be in the vicinity of the con-
tainer. See Figure 2.
• The container must be disconnected from
the vacuum unit when servicing the inside of
the container. See Figure 1.
• Never start the vacuum unit when the
emptying hatch is open. See Figure 3.
• The negative pressure inside the container
results in the hatch closing with great force
that can cause crush injuries.
• Inflammable liquids, explosive gases and dust
that can cause dust explosions must not be
sucked into GA800.
• Approved breathing equipment must be used
during emptying or servicing as this involves
exposure to health impairing dust.
• The safety instructions on the device must
be observed. See Figure 2.
3 Description
3.1 Function
The container type GA800 is designed for very large
negative pressure, up to 45 kPa.
In principle, the container is a receiver, which through
its dimensions reduces the velocity to allow coarse
and medium-sized particles to fall to the bottom of
the container.
The container features a tip function and is self-
emptying with automatic return and locking. See
ure 4.
The container is handled using a fork-lift truck or pal-
let truck.
