Putting into Service

Before spray extracting the carpet must be sucked off thoroughly by a vacuum cleaner.
Switch on both rocker switches on the cowl.
Be certain that the connected electric loads agree with the data on the rating-plate of
the device. The spray extraction device may be operated only with appropriately fused
power supply systems.
6.1

Method of Working

The cleaning solvent is sprayed through the nozzles by actuating the valve lever on the floor adapter.
Spraying is discontinued by releasing the valve lever. The floor adapter is pulled towards the operator
in straight pathways with a slight pressing. With that cleaning solvent is sprayed and sucked off in one
operation.
If the spray device doesn't spray any cleaning solvent in the ON state, the centrifugal
pump must be exhausted of air. For this the filler inlet cap of the fresh water tank must
be pulled up for some seconds.

End of Work

§
Suck remaining cleaning solvent out of fresh water tank through the end of the suction hose.
Switch off both rocker switches on the cowl. Pull out electric connecting cable from cowl.
§ Flap drain hose (on slop tank) laterally, open closure ball and drain out waste water.

Remove cowl from slop tank
§
Take out slop tank from chassis and exhaust residuary slop
§
Rinse and clean both tanks with clear water

Care, Maintenance and Repairs

8.1

General Hints

All works must be performed carefully. Maintenance work, as well as repairs of any kind, must only be
carried out by authorised service stations or by specialists in compliance with all relevant safety
regulations.
At the beginning of all care, maintenance and repair works the mains plug must be
pulled out!
8.2

Cleaning Float Facility

The float facility can be taken off for cleaning by turning right. The grid strainer on the cowl getting
released may be dry-cleaned only.
8.3

Cleaning Intake Filter

The intake filter in the fresh water tank must be pulled out and cleaned with clear water from time to
time.
8.4

Centrifugal Pump

The centrifugal pump mounted below the chassis is to be preserved against shock and stroke impacts
during transportation.
