Sources of Danger

Absolutely keep children away from moist floor covers. Drive carefully over thresholds
and benches, otherwise harms to the wheels a/o the suction/spray tube may come up
Protect the device against frost, wetness, and long lasting unchecked insolation.

The workplace is located behind the suction/spray tube with spray nozzle.

Approved Servicing Personnel

This columbus spray extraction device must be serviced and maintained by qualified and authorised
personnel only.
1.9 Procedure in Case of Emergency
Pull out the mains plug.

Description

This columbus spray extraction device is used for cleaning carpets, carpeted floors, furniture
upholstery, and similar in the internal area of buildings. It is not suitable for vacuum-cleaning (dry
sucking) and cleaning of objects with noxious dust or fluids adhering to. Use out of doors is allowed
only then if the device is protected against influences of weather (particularly against rain).

Precautions

The spray extraction shall be applied only if it is guaranteed that the textile covering and the
basement floor cannot be damaged. Special caution is advisable for:
§
Basement floors that are water-sensitive (e. g. wood or floors similar to wood)
§ Carpets that were not set with water resistant glue
§
Carpets not completely glued
§
Carpets whose base tissue is water-sensitive (e. g. jute or admixed jute)
§ Not colour-fast carpets. If necessary test colour fastness at an inconspicuous spot
The manufacturer will not accept any liability for an improper procedure.

Delivery

Fresh water tank (spray device) with chassis and pump
§ Slop tank (aspirator) with detachable cowl

Floor adapter

Pressure and suction hose

Assembly

§
Put slop tank into fresh water tank
§ Plug electric connecting cable of fresh water tank into socket on the cowl
§
Connect pressure hose (thin hose) on floor adapter and fresh water tank by quick-lock couplings
§
Plug suction hose into connection tube of waste water tank and slide the other end over the
transparent sucking tube of the floor adapter
§
Intermix cleaning agent and clear water (cold to lukewarm) well in a bucket, take off filler inlet cap
and pour in cleaning solvent
Don't use hot water. Use cleaning agents recommended by the equipment maker only.
By no means cleaning agents may be used to which are admixed easy inflammable,
poisonous, harmful to health, corrosive, or irritant materials.
