11.13 MSN Settings
A ccess the camera wit h MSN
Functio n
The MSN feature allows you or the frie nds from your list to chat to
the cam e ra to find out its IP addre ss.
This can be useful if you have lost the came ra's IP address.
Note
It is re comme nde d to create a ne w MSN account for the came ra.
W he n the came ra login use s the MSN account, this account cannot
be used for anything e lse when the came ra work s.
Set-up
1. Ente r the Use r and Password of the MSN account you will use for
the cam e ra (se e image above ).
2. Add the MSN account of your frie nds in the frie nds list and click
Subm it.
3. Go to the De vice Status page of the se ttings and che ck whe the r
the MSN status indicate s "Succee d".
4. Ne x t, open MSN Me sse nge r and log into your account.
5. The name of the came ra will appear in the friends or contacts
list.
6. O pen a chat session with the came ra use rnam e and type url?
7. The came ra will re ply with its URL.
