Remove all wheel-weights from the rim. Remove the
valve stem or core and deflate the tire.
5.2.1 Bead Breaking
Upper Bead Breaking
First of all the Bead Breaker Disc must be placed in
the correct position.
Proceed as follows:

Should the Bead Breaker Disc not already be facing
downwards.
• Pull and hold the pin 1, then rotate the Bead Breaker
Disc set downwards.
• Release the pin 1.
• Bring the Disc into position on the tire bead at the
point of contact with the rim edge.
• Activate rotation and lubricate in the bead breaking
zone.
• Lower the Disc by exerting moderate pressure to
move the bead just slightly away from its seat on
the rim.
Note: Proceed with rotation and lubrication so that
the solution penetrates as far as possible
between tire and rim Figure 5.2.1-2.
• Gradually lower the Bead Breaker Disc, ensuring
that rotation is always active, until the bead has
been moved completely away from its seat in the
direction of the rim drop center.

The machine features a control 1 for variation of the
Bead Breaker Disc penetration angle, to be activated
as required.
Description of operation:
After initial pressure of the Disc on the tire, the operator
may realize that there are disc penetration difficulties
and from this position will then be able to proceed with
modification of the penetration angle.
•
From the disc on tire contact position, activate
the lever 1.
