Fixing Outlet Direction
Decide upon a proper angle when guide plates move in auto airflow mode and press the Wind Direction button to fix wind
direction.
While fixing wind directions, position upper/lower flaps commanding airflow directions as follows :
Upward in cooling and drying mode
Downward in heating mode
• Make sure to adjust the outlet plates or flaps only through the Wind Direction button on the remote control; manual
adjusting may cause malfunction.
• Avoid constant positioning of outlet guide plates downwards when cooling and drying modes are active, as vapors
close to the outlet grill may condense and result in water dripping from the unit.
• Please pay close attention to temperature regulation values while operating the unit in places
• If the air conditioner is transferred to a new user, this manual shall be transferred to the user, together with the
conditioner.

• fter the installation, perform a test run to make sure everything is in normal condition. Operate and maintain the air

• lease ask the special maintenance station for installation and repair. Improper installation might cause water
leakage, electric shocks or fire accidents if you conduct the installation on your own.

• he installation should be conducted properly according to this manual. Water leakage, electric shocks or fire
accidents might be caused from improper installation.

• lease make sure to install the air conditioner in a place which can bear the weight of the air conditioner. Do not
install the air conditioner on the grids such as the non-special metal burglar-proof net. A place with insufficient support
strength might cause the machine to fall, which might lead to personal injuries.

• lease secure the installation against hurricane and earthquakes, etc. The installation unconformable to the
requirements will lead to accidents due to the turnover of the machine. Use specific cables for reliable wiring
connections. Please fix the terminal connections reliably to avoid the outside force applied on the cables from being
impressed upon them. Improper connections and fixings might lead to heating or fire accidents.

• eep correct shapes of wirings and avoid using embossed shapes. Connect the wirings reliably to avoid the cover
and the plate of the electrical cabinet from lipping the wiring. Improper installation might cause heating or fire
accidents.

• hile placing or reinstalling the air conditioner, besides the specific refrigerant (R410A), don't let the air go into
the refrigeration cycle system. Due to abnormally high pressure of the refrigeration cycle system, the air in the
refrigeration cycle system might lead to cracking or personal injuries.

• uring installation, please use the accompanying spare parts or specific parts. If not, water leakage, electric shocks,
fire accidents or refrigerant leakage might be caused.

• on't drain the water from the drainpipe to the waterspout to avoid harmful gases such as sulfureted gas from
entering the room.

• uring installation, if refrigerant leakage occurs, ventilation measures should be taken, since refrigerant gas might
generate harmful gases upon contacting the flame.

• fter installation, check if there is refrigerant leakage. If there is leakage in the room, air blowing heaters and stoves,
etc. may generate harmful gases.
