10. TROUBLESHOOTING

Symptom
Display not on, radio does not react
No sound is coming from the device.
All other functions are OK.
DAB+ reception interrupted.
FM reception interrupted.
Alarm
not working properly
Possible cause and troubleshooting
Batteries have run out.
Connect to power
using the power adaptor provided or insert new
batteries.
Headphones are plugged in.
Unplug the headphones.
Check the volume settings.
No stations available.
Perform a search.
Poor location
Change the radio's location
(e.g. nearer to a window),
perform another search.
Fully extend the antenna.
Don't forget that no other electronic devices should
be near the radio as this can cause an electroma-
gnetic disruption.
Time not adopted. Switch the device on and choose
a DAB+ station.
After a moment, the time will be
synchronised via DAB.
Check the time and change this manually if the
DAB+ synchronisation does not work.
