5. FIRST START-UP
The menu is split up into the submenu for the current source,
the functions available for this source and the system menu for
device-specific settings.
To go back one step in the menus or settings, press
the MENU/INFO button.
Closing the menu: Press the MENU button multiple times (depending on which menu you are
currently viewing) or wait approx. 15 seconds.

5.9. Time and date

When listening to a DAB+ station for the first time, the time and date
of your product is automatically synchronised with the DAB+ service
in a 24-hour format. This always complies with the latest time, so the
time and date do not have to be set manually. If you would like to set
the time and date manually, turn the radio on and proceed as follows:
1. Hold down the menu button to view the menu options.
2. Use the ◂ or ▸ button to access the system - settings part of the
menu.
Press the SELECT button.
3. In the [System] submenu, use the ◂ ▸ buttons to select the [Time] and
press the SELECT button.
4. Use the ◂ ▸ buttons to select the 'time/date' and press the
SELECT button.
The display will read 'set time/date'. Press the SELECT button again.
5. The first figure (hours) will blink and can be changed using the ◂ ▸
buttons.
The TUNE▸ button increases the value, while the ◂ decreases it.
6. Press the SELECT button to confirm the settings.
The next figures (minutes) will then blink and can be changed as already
outlined.
7. After each further setting, press the SELECT button to jump to the
next setting.
Proceed as described above to set the date.
8. Once all settings have been confirmed and the SELECT buttonhas been pressed, [time
saved] will appear in the display.
9. Set either the 12 or 24-hour clock. Set the date format: either DD-MM-YYYY
or MM-DD-YYYY and confirm automatic time updates via DAB signal, FM signal or no
updates.
