8. ALARM FUNCTION

8.1. Setting the alarm

Check that the radio is showing the right time and date before setting an alarm.
When the radio is on (not in standby mode):

8.2. Stopping the alarm

When an alarm sounds, press any button (apart from the SELECT button)

to stop the alarm. 'Alarm off' will appear.
Alternatively, you can press the SELECT button (see snooze function below).
NOTE!
The alarm symbol will remain in the display and the alarm will sound again at the same time
the following day unless you set it to 'once'.

8.3. Snooze

The snooze function can be used to pause an active alarm for a short time.
When the alarm is active, press the SELECT button to activate the snooze function.

The alarm will then be paused for 10 minutes.

1. Press and hold the Menu button.
2. Use the ◂ or ▸ button to switch to System Settings.
Press the SELECT button.
3. Use the ◂ or ▸ button to select 'Alarm' and press the
SELECT button.
Choose Alarm 1 or Alarm 2.
4. Press the SELECT button to see the available
alarm information and options.
5. Use the ◂ or ▸ button to select Alarm 1 or 2.
Press the SELECT button. Use the ◂ or ▸ button to change each
setting and then press the SELECT button to confirm.
6. Check you have set the alarm before leaving the menu.
7. Once an alarm has been set, the alarm symbol
will appear at the bottom of the display.
In standby mode, the display will show your alarm times
(Alarm 1 and/or Alarm 2).
