2.4 Special hazards

WARNING!
Observe the information given in the applicable type exami-
nation certificate and the relevant country-specific regulations
for installation and use in potentially explosive atmospheres
(e.g. IEC 60 079-14, NEC, CEC). Non-observance can result in
serious injury and/or damage to equipment.
Dangerous pressure media such as Oxygen, Acetylene, flammable gases or liquids, toxic
gases or liquids as well as for refrigeration plants or compressors requires attention above
the standard regulations. Here the specific safety codes or regulations must be consi-
dered.
For additional important safety instructions see chapter .3 "Safety instructions
for instruments with ATEX approval".

Residual media in dismounted pressure gauges may result in a
risk to people, the environment and the system. Take sufficient
precautionary measures.
