beweglichen und heißen Teile im
Motorraum berühren

Anschluß der Versorgungs-
spannung für VW Golf III 2- / 4-türig
und Vento
- Freie Gummitülle aus der Spritzwand
herausdrücken (hinter dem Kühlwasser-
ausgleichsbehälter).
- Gummitülle mit einem Ø 10 mm Loch versehen.
- Rotes und schwarzes Kabel durch die Gummitülle in den
Motorraum verlegen.
- Kabel im Motorraum mit Isolierschlauch versehen und zur
Batterie verlegen (siehe Abb. 11).
- Schwarzes Kabel an Minus- Klemme der Batterie anbringen.
- Rotes Kabel an Plus-Klemme der Batterie anbringen.
- Kabel mit Kabelbändern an geeigneten Stellen im Motorraum
befestigen.
Funktionsüberprüfung
- Nach endgültiger Montage des Kabelbaumes Funktionsprü-
fung durchführen.
- Batterie anklemmen.
- Schloß der linken Tür einrasten (bei geöffneter Tür).

Connecting cable

- Fit the cable in the engine compartment with flexible
insulating tubing and lay it to the battery (see diagram 11).
- Fit the black cable to the negative battery-cable terminal.
- Fit the red cable to the plus battery-cable terminal.
- Fasten the cables by means of cable fasteners at
appropriate places in the engine compartment.
Operational test
- Carry out an operational test after the final assembly of the
loom of cables.
- Connect the battery.
- Engage the lock of the left door (with the door open).
Attention! Ensure that the cables never
contact moving or hot parts in the engine
compartment.
Connection of the distribution voltage
for VW Golf III 2- / 4- doors and Vento
- Squeeze out the free rubber bushing
from the splashboard (behind the
cooling water expansion tank).
- Drill a Ø 10 mm hole in the rubber
bushing.
- Lay the red and black cable through the
