OPERATION AND CHARACTERISTICS

9.
The premium I-CON range is comprised of various operating modes, which are explained below.

9.1 DLM AUTOSTART

The DLM AUTOSTART charging stations are able to manage 2 different charging modes.
The first is called ECO and the second DLM.
One mode excludes the other, but it is possible to vary the configuration as needed. Remember that for the DLM
operating mode, there must be a specific energy meter connected to the station as indicated in chapters 6, 7.2.3
and 7.2.4.
The simplified ECO mode is set by default on the charging station.

9.1.1 ECO OPERATING MODE

This mode is set by default on the charging station and the charging power is the nominal one associated with the
GWJ code of reference.
The user may customise this mode by varying the charging power, selecting from among a set of available val-
ues, and/or indicate a time range within which charging will be managed (outside of the set time range, it will be
suspended or ended).

9.1.2 DLM OPERATING MODE

This mode must be set specifically by the customer/installer, thereby replacing the default ECO mode. With this
mode, after setting some parameters related to the system, the charging power will be managed autonomously by
the charging station based on domestic consumption.
If domestic consumption increases, the charging power is reduced until it is suspended. When domestic con-
sumption is reduced, the power can increase.
ATTENTION: in order to avoid unpleasant disconnections of the domestic meter, the logic applied to managing
the power is precautionary.
In order to cover all the needs and charging modes for the car, the minimum current needed for charging
is 8A for stations with a single-phase power supply and 13A for stations with a three-phase power supply.
Remember that for the DLM operating mode, there must be a specific energy meter connected to the station
as indicated in chapters 6, 7.2.3 and 7.2.4.

9.2 RFID

RFID mode indicates that the session has to be activated and terminated using the RFID cards supplied by the
provider and added to the local station White List beforehand.

9.3 CLOUD OCPP

CLOUD mode indicates that the charging station is connected to a control and management platform. Thanks to
this platform, the station can be controlled and monitored while it's operating, and the recharging sessions can
be saved. The end user accesses the service via an app or using RFID cards associated with his/her own profile,
in complete autonomy.
