If you do not have a video recorder:
connect TV/VCR directly with the aerial
input of the TV receiver.

Connect the cable of your satellite aerial to the

LNB 1 input socket (screw connector) at the back of
the receiver.

If your television is provided with a EURO-AV input,
you will get the best picture quality if you connect
this input by means of a EURO-AV connecting cable
(available from your dealer) to the TV socket of
your receiver.
Please also refer to the user manual of your TV set.

Terrestrial aerial
In the same way, a second aerial can be connected
to the LNB 2 socket. This second aerial can be
aligned on a different satellite.
Connect the mains power lead and the aerial leads
to the TV set, the video recorder and the terrestrial
aerial as shown in the diagram above.

Video recorder
If you have a video recorder provided with a EURO-

AV socket, you will get the optimum recording
quality if you connect the video recorder by means
of a EURO-AV connecting lead (available from your
dealer) to the VCR socket of the receiver. When
playing a video cassette, the signal then will directly
be passed to the television.
– The receiver's display will indicate "VCR".

Best sound quality is obtained when connecting the
receiver to hifi equipment.

Connect the AUDIO OUT socket of your receiver via
a phono (Cinch) cable (available from your dealer)
to the hi-fi amplifier. In this way, you will get most
from the quality of the GNRS audio technology.
