en - CM 5 stainless steel milk flask
The milk flask may only be used for domestic household
purposes to keep milk for the preparation of coffee drinks
cool. • Any other usage is not supported by the
manufacturer. Miele cannot be held liable for damage
resulting from incorrect or improper use of the milk flask. •
The milk flask is not a toy! To avoid the risk of injury, do not
let children play with it. • Only use additive-free milk.
Additives containing sugar would stick to the milk pipework
and the cappuccinatore. • Clean the milk flask thoroughly
before using it for the first time. • Place the milk flask on a
level surface. Make sure that the milk flask is kept away from
sources of heat, e.g. do not place it immediately next to a
hob. Clean the milk flask by hand only. • Do not use
cleaning agents mentioned in the operating instructions for
the coffee machine on any surface of the flask, e.g. stainless
steel cleaning agent or abrasive cleaning materials.

pointing downwards as shown a.

tube to the top of the lid a until it clicks into

cappuccinatore.
Cleaning
The milk flask should be taken apart and cleaned
every day.
^ It must be cleaned by hand only, using hot water
and a little washing-up liquid. If neccessary, a small
brush can be used to remove any stubborn milk
deposits.
^ Rinse all parts carefully under running water. Traces
of washing-up liquid can affect the taste and quality
of the milk froth. Dry all parts thoroughly.
^ Reassemble the milk flask.
