7 Replacement of AST assembly
Procedure:
1. Check whether the printed circuit board centering
bolts are present and securely in place at the
respective positions in the inverter. If PCB centering
bolts are missing, remove the PCB centering bolts
from the defective assembly.
2. Clean the supporting surfaces in the enclosure. To do so, use the cleaning cloths included in
the delivery. Cleaning can be made easier using Isopropanol.
3. Carefully remove the AC power controller assembly upwards out of the packaging. When
doing so, only hold the assembly by the handling areas and ensure that the thermal grease is
not damaged or soiled.
4. To insert the AC power controller assembly into the inverter, first carefully lead the right-hand
side of the assembly past the connections into the inverter and insert the assembly in the
inverter. Put the assembly onto the PCB centering pins. Ensure that the PCB centering pins
match the holes in the assembly.
