WARNING! The internal connection diagrams of the generators are reported in the manual of the voltage
regulator.
Fix the output cables to the terminals of the generator, as shown in Figure 6:
Rotation direction
The generators are usually provided to work with a clockwise rotation (from the coupling side).
Ground connection
The terminal box contains a terminal for ground connection while a second terminal is located at the foot of the
generator. Connect the ground connection with an appropriate copper conductor, in line with the regulations in
force.
5.7 Single-phase loads
The three-phase generators of this series can be used as single-phase generators when following the
indications reported here below:
The generator can be used at a maximum power of 0.6 times the rate reported on the plate for the three-
phase load.
The generator can be connected to the parallel star (220 Volts at 5Hz required or 220-24V at 6Hz) and the
single phase must be connected to terminals U1/T1 and V1/T2.

The generator can also be connected in a zig zag (220-240 Volts at 5Hz required or 220-24V at 6Hz) and the
single-phase load must be connected to terminals U1/T1 and V1/T2.
