Friction Buckles
The buckle without a buckle: Friction
Buckles fasten the shoulder straps by
friction. Dynema cords are looped th-
rough one another. With friction, they are
fixed in the desired position.
To change the length of the shoulder
straps, just loosen the straps and select
the desired position.
This solution is not only innovative – it
saves weight without losing functionali-
ty. Friction Buckles are perfect for lightweight hike & fly harnesses, where every
gram counts.
Inverted Bag
Not an ideal rucksack, not an ideal harness – traditional reversible harnesses have
had to be a compromise between both. Our Inverted Bag gets rid of this contradic-
tion: when the rucksack is inverted, the waistband goes up to the shoulders; the
shoulder straps are at your hips. This has permitted us to make a great rucksack
as well as a sophisticated harness – without having to make any compromises. The
INVERTO/MONTIS+ uses this technology.
Tailor-made Geometry
Our S and L sizes are not just scaled copies of the M size. We take time to ensure
that every size is designed with its appropriate geometry. As well as the width of
the seat and the length of the webbing, the height of the carabiner hang points is
one aspect which requires experience in positioning.

position.

Packing and correct use

Packing the rucksack
Pack the rucksack in a manner that heavy objects are closest to the body. First
place the wing in the rucksack and then place the parachute underneath it, in the
hip area if possible.
We recommend storing your wing in our Compression Bag. This makes it into a
square, easy-to-carry shape and the Compression Bag protects the wing from
sweat, which can damage the sail cloth.
The helmet should be stored between the main storage compartment and the lid
compartment.
The generous lid compartment is ideal of storing clothing. The side pockets are
also suitable for clothing or a drinks bottle, etc.
These bungees should also be used when the bag is inverted and the poles are
inside – this ensures they are securely stored.
Use the compression straps to reduce the volume. This means that the centre of
gravity moves towards the body which increases carrying comfort.
