15.3.2 Stopping
Turn back the throttle control to idling mixture.
Turn off the ignition.
Close the petrol cock.
Before storing the machine it must get cold.
15.3.3 Forward/Reverse
Forward (F): push the direction lever forward.
Reverse (R): push the direction lever backwards.
15.3.4 Operating instructions
Operate the machine by postponing the handle sidewise.
Always hold a good stand do that you can't slide or lose the control of the machine.
When the machine has an optional water tank you can adjust the flowing speed by using the cock
in the tube.
One meter around the machine and into the working direction there mustn't be any person except
of the operator.
During compacting and raising of an earth building you have to compact about 100 to 150 mm

When compacting earth in the middle of a building the plate shouldn't touch the reinforced
concrete piles, the underground construction the ground of the machine and the underground
pipes.

When lots of machines work together, the distance between the front machine and the machine
that is behind it should be at least 10 m. The parallel distance shouldn't be less than 5 m.
When the machine works on soft or rough ground you have to decrease the engine speed by using
the throttle control so that the machine doesn't sink. When there is a descent you have to take
care that the plate compactor doesn't faint.
You have to take care extremely in the following dangerous areas:
At tunnel workings you have to cater for a good ventilation to avoid accidents. There must be
a functioning control system for the supply of fresh air.
During working and parking you have to take care of the stability of the machine to avoid
dangers.
